Jinshan. They endorsed the decision, made by the Political Bureau of the Central
Committee, to expel Li Dongsheng, Jiang Jiemin, Yang Jinshan, Wang Yongchun,
Li Chuncheng, and Wan Qingliang from the Party.

All CPC members and the people of all China’s ethnic groups were called
upon at the session to closely unite around the Party Central Committee, with Xi
Jinping as General Secretary, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese
characteristics, devote themselves to the great endeavor of comprehensively
advancing the law-based governance of China, press ahead with a pioneering spirit,
work in a pragmatic fashion, and strive to build China into a rule of law country.
