Jinping’s important instructions and comments.
We established the system of annual conferences for CPC members on the
Standing Committee and the system for the CPC branch groups of special
committees to report to the leading Party members’ group of the National
Committee. Rules for the CPC branch groups of special committees were updated.
The system of commenting on the performance of CPC members on the Standing
Committee was introduced. With these steps, we have ensured that Party
organizations cover all CPC members on the National Committee and the CPC’s
work covers all National Committee members.
We implemented the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on
improving conduct along with detailed rules for its implementation. Thanks to our
efforts in Party building, we have fostered a favorable environment for increasing
political awareness, nurturing a strong team, facilitating the performance of duties,
and strengthening unity.
2. Fulfilling duties and responsibilities with a focus on the central tasks of the CPC and
the country and contributing wisdom and strength to achieving the Two Centenary Goals
We continued to follow the fundamental principle of pursuing progress while
ensuring stability, fully and faithfully applied the new development philosophy on
all fronts, and carried out research and deliberations with a focus on promoting
high-quality development.
Topics under consultation included major economic and social issues such as
fostering a new pattern of development, developing the real economy, supporting
major and original innovations, promoting sound development of the new energy
vehicle industry, safeguarding national food security, curbing pollution, advancing
the Peaceful China Initiative to a higher level, developing education that meets the
people’s expectations, developing the Grand Canal cultural belt, and promoting
the development of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones. They also
pertained to practical issues of immediate concern to the people such as
responding to population aging, improving basic public cultural services in rural
areas, supervising the safety of delivery food, and formulating and revising laws
and regulations. These topics were selected in a well-conceived way and our
suggestions and proposals were based on extensive research and thus well
