We should take the initiative in our work, play a model role in our
professions, and demonstrate the qualities of CPPCC members in the new era
through our exemplary actions. CPPCC committees should endeavor to

strengthen management and upgrade services, place equal emphasis on
positive incentives and disciplinary restraints, and respect the principal

position of their members, protect their democratic rights, and create a
favorable environment for them to deliver on their duties and responsibilities.

III. Suggestions for the CPPCC’s Future Work

At its 20th National Congress, the CPC drew up a grand blueprint for
advancing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese

path to modernization, thus charting the course for continued progress in the cause
of the CPC and the country.

The CPPCC must fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with
Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the guidelines of the Central
Conference on CPPCC Work, earnestly perform its duties, practice

whole-process democracy, and promote the great unity of all the sons and
daughters of the Chinese nation, so as to play its due part in fulfilling the

objectives and tasks set forth at the CPC’s 20th National Congress.
1. We should thoroughly study and implement the guiding principles of the 20th

National Congress of the CPC.
We must give political priority to studying, publicizing, and implementing

the guiding principles set forth at the CPC’s 20th National Congress. In this
regard, we should enhance the training of National Committee members,
particularly new members, helping them accurately grasp the Congress’

defining themes, essential features, and strategic plans. We must strengthen
members’ political capacity and ability to perform their duties and guide them

in closely following the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its
core.

Acting on the plans and requirements relating to CPPCC work set forth at
the CPC’s 20th National Congress, we must uphold the CPC’s leadership, the
